Dr. Daniel TerryDr. Daniel Terry is the Director of Undergraduate Academic Initiatives. As an administrator in the Office of the Provost, Dr. Terry leads University-wide initiatives that center on student success, learning, and integrative thinking.  He serves as course director for TCU’s first-year student success seminar, Introduction to University Life, is the founding director of the University’s ePortfolio initiative, FrogFolio, and directs an annual interdisciplinary conference, Frog Forum, where students from across majors explore and discover approaches to a complex, real-world problem. (Read more)

Jacob ButtryJacob Buttry is a sophomore at Texas Christian University pursuing a double degree in Psychology and Theatre, with minors in Spanish and Actuarial Mathematics. Jacob originates from the safest city in the nation, Plano, TX, where he graduated from Prestonwood Christian Academy. He is an active member and sound coordinator at Antioch Community Church in Fort Worth and a member of Chancellor’s Leadership Program on campus. (Visit his FrogFolio to read more)


Alex Hates is a sophomore Physics major from Fort Worth, TX with a double minor in Education and Mathematics. Aside from being a TCU student and FrogFolio eTern, she is a Core Leadership Team Manager at LifeWay Christian Resources and owns and manages a small photography business. Alex also volunteers at Gateway Church as a worship leader and dances with Gateway Performing Arts. She has taught part-time for the Fort Worth-based Generation Hope program. Mary Burchill is a freshman eTern for FrogFolio. She is a BFA Musical Theatre Major from the winter wonderland called Stillwater, Minnesota. Mary is an actress, singer, and dancer (sorta) who absolutely loves bullet journaling, calligraphy, fashion, traveling, and making dairy-free treats (woot woot for lactose intolerance). She is currently pledging to be a part of APO and hopes to one day move out to New York CIty to pursue a theatrical career. (Visit her FrogFolio to read more)

2014-04-19 13.32.21 Jessica Menkin Kontelis is a former Graduate Assistant to FrogFolio. From 2016 to 2018, she managed the FrogFolio Lab, developed undergraduate and faculty support materials, and marketed FrogFolio to the TCU community. Jessica is a PhD graduate from the Rhetoric & Composition, English program at TCU. She specializes in developing interdisciplinary approaches to nurturing creativity and teaching writing. She also holds an MFA from Mills College in Fiction.


bethanyBethany Pierce is a former eTern who graduated in 2018. She graduated from TCU’s Biology department with Spanish and Chemistry minors and will stay in Texas for medical school. In addition to working for TCU’s FrogFolio program, she was involved in multiple organizations on and off campus, including the John V. Roach Honors College, Women In Science and Engineering, the pre-health society Alpha Epsilon Delta, the service fraternity Alpha Phi Omega, and TCU’s Spanish and Chemistry Clubs.  (Visit her FrogFolio to read more)


winonaWinona Gbedey is a former eTern from Bentonville, AR who graduated in 2018. She graduated from TCU’s Biology department with a Health Care Ethics minor. Winona was also a member of the Horned Frog Marching Band, the Vice President of the Minority Association of Pre-Medical Students, the Corresponding Secretary for Alpha Phi Omega, and a TCU Pre-Health Ambassador. She enjoys reading fiction, watching Netflix, listening to music, and occasionally writing short stories. mackenzieMackenzie Hall is a former eTern and graduated marketing major from Austin, TX. She graduated in 2018 and now works in digital sales at IBM. While working as a FrogFolio eTern, Mackenzie was also involved in the BNSF Neeley Leadership Program, Chancellor’s Leadership Program, and the John V. Roach Honors College. Samantha McHenry is a former eTern from Friendswood, Texas who graduated in 2018 with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She was involved in many organizations and activities both on and off campus. She was a Nordan Scholarship recipient in the TCU College of Fine Arts, Department of Theatre, Member of the John V. Roach Honors College, spirit section leader for TCU football games, Member of the Alpha Psi Omega Theatre Honors Fraternity, Member of the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, and served as peer guide for a theatre-major section of Intro to University Life.
